Is AffiliateOS a Skimlinks alternative?

Skimlinks and Sovrn monetize links for publishers with no affiliate accounts of their own by routing traffic through theirs and keeping a share. AffiliateOS assumes you have your own accounts — that is what BYOC means — and in exchange you keep 100% of commissions and the merchant relationship. If you have no network accounts at all, an auto-monetizer will get you earning sooner.
Why does keeping the merchant relationship matter?
Rates, exclusive offers and program-level negotiation attach to whoever holds the account. When a monetizer holds it, your leverage and your commission history sit with them, and none of it transfers if you switch. With BYOC the account is yours from the start.
Can I use both?
